METAL DETECTORS – RELIABLE DETECTION OF ALL METALS
Whether for the detection of nails in logs, needles in nonwoven fabric or stainless steel chips in cheese; metal detectors reliably perform their job in an infinite number of applications. As they recognise all kinds of metals, from iron to aluminium and copper to stainless steels of any grade. Special variants are used outdoors or in potentially explosive atmospheres. They can receive external certifications according to ATEX or NRTL standards as well as factory or material certificates.
CONVEYOR BELT SYSTEMS – SAFE OPERATION FOR METAL DETECTORS
Conveyor belt systems are the most important complement to metal detectors in the inspection of general cargo. A special design for bulk materials is also available. The entire structure is adapted to enable the metal detector to operate for a long time without false alarms. Each of our belt systems is individually tailored to the requirements of our customers. If necessary, separation devices such as pushers, blowing nozzles or flaps supplement the product. We also offer reliable and robust solutions for applications in the field of round timber transport or mill loading.
METAL SEPARATORS – RAPID SEPARATION OF CONTAMINANTS
If a metal detector is combined with a separator, it is referred to as a metal separator. In addition to the requirements for each metal detector, this must safely and reactively separate contaminated product components from the material flow. These systems are used, for example, to examine sausage meat in the pump conveyor line, textile fibres in the flight conveyor or sugar in free fall. The systems must work quickly, with little maintenance and reliably for years.
X-RAY INSPECTION – DETECTING MORE THAN JUST FOREIGN OBJECTS
Foreign object detection by means of X-rays is a rapidly growing area of quality assurance in the food sector. In addition to the detection of metals, glass, stones or, depending on the product, wood or plastics can also be found. However, X-ray scanners can also make an important contribution to improving product quality. For example, product components can be counted, individual products can be weighed in a multipack or fractures and deformations can be detected.
